Photography Competition "Nature Treasures in Europe 2011"

Send us your best shots of nature!

For the 18th time already, EuroNatur, in cooperation with Deutsche Lufthansa AG, "natur+kosmos" and NaturVision, will host the photography competition "Nature Treasures of Europe". 
We are looking for the most beautiful and striking photos of animals, plants or landscapes in Europe. Get out on a photo safari and send us your findings captured on pictures! No matter if it's a hidden natural treasure or a breathtaking natural spectacle: what matters is your individual perspective of the European flora and fauna.
The best pictures will be shown in an exhibition at the Lusen visitor centre of the Bavarian Forest National Park in autumn 2011 and awarded with valuable prizes. The winner photos will be published among others in the magazine "natur+kosmos", in the EuroNatur magazine, on the Internet pages of the hosts and in the large-size wall calendar "EuroNatur 2012".

Participation is free; attractive prizes may be won.

1st prize: 7 adventurous days for 2 persons in the Sava floodplains in Croatia
2nd prize: Zeiss Mono 20x60 S telescope
3rd prize: 3 days for 2 persons in the "Senne", a landscape in Eastern Westphalia.
4th prize: 3 days for 2 persons in Neuschönau, the gateway to the Bavarian Forest National Park
5th prize: Zeiss Classic 8 x 30 B/GA binoculars

Prize 6 to 12 and the prize of the jury is each one prize in kind from the assortment of EuroNatur Service GmbH.
Furthermore, each winner receives a wall calendar "EuroNatur 2012".
Prizes will not be paid out in cash; legal action is excluded.

Closing date is March 31, 2011.
