This award goes to the director of the film chosen by the jury as the best film at the NaturVision Film Festival.

German Conservation/Sustainability Film Award

This award goes to the film that most effectively presents the ecological challenges facing us and highlights the need for conservation of our environment.

NaturVision German Documentary Award

This award goes to an outstanding German film which reflects German individuality and international standards in equal measure.

NaturVision Camera Award

This award goes to the film in which the camera work contributes most uniquely to the artistic and aesthetic quality of the film.

NaturVision Children’s Film Award

This award goes to the film which best introduces children to the complex relationship between nature and the environment and stimulates their interest in the topic.

NaturVision Newcomers and Amateurs Award

This award is inspired by Avid Technology GmbH. It is aimed at newcomers and non-professionals whose films tackle the subject of nature/wildlife/people/environment innovatively and convincingly. The length and genre of the film are irrelevant. This award includes an “Avid Media Composer Academic” software package.

NaturVision Audience Award

All visitors to the Festival have the opportunity to vote for their favourite film from the competition programme. The winner receives the NaturVision Audience Award.
