The music underlines the emotional depth and rhythm of the narrative, supports the atmosphere and replaces the classical dialogue level. The extreme reduction of the sound material and the unconventional voice leading lend the music a disarming simplicity that is reminiscent of the clarity and tranquillity of nature and thus exerts a great power on the images. The music develops its own, minimalist tonal language, which manages without subjective emotional charge, and yet has a great emotional impact. Simplicity is not a flaw here, but the expression of a homogeneous art form together with the filmic work.
